Effective 2026-08-30 · Clink Foundry · clinkforge.com & api.clinkforge.com
Clink Forge is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, no API keys, no sign-ups, and no advertising or cross-site tracking anywhere on this service. This page describes the little we do process, plainly.
What we process
- Request metadata. Like any web service, API requests carry an IP address, user-agent string, headers, and query parameters. We log these to operate the service: telemetry, abuse prevention, capacity planning, and understanding which datasets are asked for.
- Payment data. Payments settle in USDC on the Base blockchain, which is public by design. We record the paying wallet address, amount, and on-chain transaction reference for each settlement — the receipt we hand back to you. We never see or hold private keys, card numbers, or bank details, and there is nothing to “store on file.”
- Email. If you write to us, we have your email and what you sent. We use it to reply.
What we do not do
- No sale or rental of data about callers, ever.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no cross-site cookies. The website is static; its only script reads our own public catalog endpoint to show live product counts.
- No profiling of buyers. Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics (calls per product, quote counts) drive our own operations and public transparency numbers.
- The data products themselves contain public government and civic records, not personal data collected by us.
Retention
Operational telemetry lives in rolling windows (system health metrics are pruned after 14 days; request-level telemetry is kept only as long as it is useful for operations). Settlement and receipt records are kept long-term: they back the cryptographic attestations we issue and our accounting. The blockchain itself is permanent and outside our control.
Service providers
- Cloudflare serves this site and fronts the API (CDN, edge, DDoS protection) and processes request metadata to do so.
- Coinbase Developer Platform acts as the x402 payment facilitator that verifies and settles payments on Base.
- DigitalOcean hosts the origin infrastructure.
Your choices and rights
Because there are no accounts, there is usually nothing to delete beyond ephemeral request logs. If you believe we hold personal data about you and want it corrected or removed, or you have any privacy question, email admin@clinkforge.com and we will respond promptly. Note that on-chain transactions cannot be altered by anyone, including us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date. Material changes get a note on the home page.
